Ran the Provo River Parkway trail while looking to get 4 or 5 miles in.  Ran for time instead.  Jogged for 40 minutes then turned around and came back.  Course tool logs the run at about 3.5 one way.  More than I wanted, but on the bright side, I thought I saw Rio Olympian Jared Ward running past me in the other direction with a running buddy.  I could be wrong since he was running way faster than I was while maintaining a conversation, but I'm pretty sure.

I was feeling good on the way out.  Started sucking on the way back.

Woke up at 0200.  Out the door at 0300.  Took I-80 East through Reno.  Stopped twice to refuel both car and my stomach in Lovelock and Wendover.  Took I-15 because it was a few minutes faster than I-215.  Hit Provo right around 1700 local time.  Light traffic all the way even through the road construction going on.

Just went for a nice, long, slow jog out to University and hung a left for another quarter mile.  Not sure when I will be able to come back out this way again, but I enjoyed it for one more time.  The headlights from oncoming traffic impeded my vision at times on the way out, but coming back it was no problem.  Easy pace.  Just the way I like it.

Stomach problems slowed me down on the way back, but it just provided more of an opportunity to wax nostalgic.
