Fun run / walk with my oldest.  She was excited and raring to go.  We did a lap around the block in 18:47.  We did more walking than running, but it was fun.  Finally, I made it back on the board after an extended break since September.  I had vowed to never run again.  I was wrong.

Walked for 10 minutes one way and then returned for a grand total of 20 minutes.  It's a start.

Back on the board again.  In my head, I didn't lose a step.  Reality came crashing down on me yesterday.  Went for a 30 minute run to get back into the swing of things.  After 8 minutes, my legs were burning.  I couldn't believe it.  After reviewing what I've done the past few months, I believe it now.  Spent 41:44 exploring a new route.  I have no idea how long it is, but I'll measure it another time.

One lap around the neighborhood.  It hurt.  I've gained 20 lbs since August simply by eating whatever I wanted and ignoring that little voice that tells you to get out and run.  Today, that little voice said I told you so.  Walked to warm up for 3 minutes and then did 8 reps of 60/120s.  Walked to cool down for 3 minutes.  Planked for 59 seconds.

New year.  Looking to beat the mileage from last year and not take a prolonged break.
