| | That might be stretching the distance a little but it was pretty close. Went 15 minutes out and 15 minutes back. My legs still seem to work although they will probably be sore tomorrow. Guess we will find that out when tomorrow comes.

| | Went exploring down the south side and found no sidewalks or crosswalks. Good thing it was just a walk. An option would be to use the train tracks but I've seen too many movies where someone gets their foot caught in the tracks and then it's game over. |

| | Maybe 2.5 miles but we'll say 2 for now. Jogged up the street to my new favorite parking lot because it is completely empty in the morning. Did 8 reps of 60/120s using the first minute of recovery to walk and catch my breath and the second minute to jog. Kind of like a progression from walk to run. During the third minute, it is always a challenge to try and maintain form while not tightening up. Jogged back and stretched a little. Felt a little heavy today and that was probably the pizza I had last night still sitting in my gut. 43 minutes total with 8 for walking is a grand total of 35 minutes which could be about 2.5 or maybe close to 3 but we'll call it 2. |

| | Walked about 3 miles. Did the same route that I did yesterday except I just walked the whole way. I didn't really sweat all that much but I think a couple of factors played into that. First, the weather was actually nice and cool with humidity at a low. Second, I just wanted to have fun and do it without running. It was an enjoyable 3 miles. Took 58:30 to complete. Who knows what the real distance is but I'm just glad that I got out and did something. |

| | Did the same 3 mile route as yesterday with a goal to beat my previous walking time of 58:30. I was feeling really good until I started jogging. That's when I just felt heavy. Zaxby's was good and was nice and comfy in my gut. I walked most of the way. However, although I had planned to just walk the whole route, I threw in a little running here and there just because I felt really good. Go figure, after I gave my body time to warm up, I felt just fine. Finished up in 50:30.35 which is an 8 minute improvement only because I cheated and couldn't keep myself from enjoying a few sprints. When you are the only guy out there, you are the fastest guy out there. I was on top of the world. |

| | Ran over to BN and did pullups, dips and pushups. Only 100 each, but that was more than I could currently handle. Returned to the company and did core work.

| | Attended a run improvement class. The recommendations I received were to keep my chest up, keep my neck straight instead of stretching forward, and to work on getting up to 170 paces per minute by increments of 5 steps per minute every two weeks.

| | Just went for a slow jog to get one in for the week. Went to the 1.5 mile marker and turned back. Experimented with my lean a little and tried to keep my neck straight instead of stretched forward. It was a fun run. 35:24.41

| | I was just going to run 18 minutes out and turn around and run 18 minutes back. However, when the timer went off, I felt it was best to just keep going forward instead of reversing course. Just glad to get a short run in today. Turkey trot route at 36:02.

| | Nothing like running alone and feeling like the fastest runner alive on the earth. Of course as other runners passed me up, I was brought back to reality, but for a few moments I was the fastest man alive. Ran the Turkey Trot loop but bypassed the loop around the building next to the Clipper Club. Added 7 reps of 60/120s. Truth be told, I lost count at 4 so I may have done 8. Thankfully, the route is a loop or I might have gotten lost or lost track of distance.
