I had the bright idea to hit the stairs.  It seemed like a fairly simple task.  There were 8 floors.  I set the timer for 36 minutes and started walking up and down the stairs.  I managed 8.5 sets.  That figures into 68 floors climbed and descended.  Unfortunately, my calves are hurting.  It'll take a couple of days to wear off.  Just need to do more inclines.  (36:11)

According to my phone, I got 5662 steps in today.  Not a whole lot, but better than nothing.  I figured out that the phone just tracks movement.  Any kind of movement.  As I was resting my calves, I experimented with flutter kicks and simple arm movements and watched the step count increase while lying in bed.  It just brought a smile to my face knowing that if all I wanted was a number, all I had to do was move my arm back and forth throughout the day.

Walk in place for 20 minutes.  Didn't feel like getting out in the rain, but a little movement beats no movement.  Clearing out my clutter so I can jump rope.  40 knee pushups for an easy warm up.  (Or was it easy?)

Kicking myself for letting myself slip this far.  However, my period of inactivity was very enjoyable and instructive.  Being able to do whatever you want, whenever you want, isn't always what's best for you.  One lap around the neighborhood and a short lap from Cooper, Southland Dr, Concord back to Cooper.  Attempted to jog, but wasn't feeling it.  Walked the whole route.
