Did the same 3 mile route as yesterday with a goal to beat my previous walking time of 58:30. I was feeling really good until I started jogging. That's when I just felt heavy. Zaxby's was good and was nice and comfy in my gut. I walked most of the way. However, although I had planned to just walk the whole route, I threw in a little running here and there just because I felt really good. Go figure, after I gave my body time to warm up, I felt just fine. Finished up in 50:30.35 which is an 8 minute improvement only because I cheated and couldn't keep myself from enjoying a few sprints. When you are the only guy out there, you are the fastest guy out there. I was on top of the world. |
