Guess what happens when you stop running for a while and then decide to go for a run in weather you are not accustomed to?  Pain.  That's what happens.  You feel pain.  I took 2.5 weeks off to recover from congestion and shin splints.  The good news is that I am pain free.  The bad news is that while I was trying to run, my body was in a state of rebellion.  It was as if it didn't recognize what I was trying to do and didn't want to do it.  We did about 5 miles but I walked the back half to save what was left of my legs after the first half.  I should never take a prolonged break like that ever again.

Covered three miles but walked about a half mile.  My legs are hurting.  Today was just an easy day.  Feel good about getting out.  Don't feel so good about the condition of my legs, but that's what I get.  Averaged out to about a 13 minute mile.  It was slow.

About a 4 mile ruck.  May have been just a tad longer, but not that much longer.  I'll measure it tomorrow.  Maybe.  1 hour 27 minutes.

Legs are still sore, but felt much better today once I started running.  Time was a little better than Tuesday, but not much better.  I should never ever get injured or sick and take time off away from running.  23:54.89 for the first two miles and 11:11.46 for the third for a grand total of 35:06.35.  Turn around point at the 1.5 mile marker at 16:46.02 which was really 1.4 since I started off at the .1 marker.
