That is the total distance it took me to go before I hit 85% of my VO something on a treadmill. We started off at around 4.4 and increased speed every minute until we hit 6.0 or 6.2 mph. Probably 6.0. That took about 7 or 8 minutes. Have to look at the chart again to be sure. Anyway, the guy running it was pretty confident and competent in what he was doing. He said I need to do sprints to improve my max.
