| | Back to my favorite run route. I had it all to myself this morning which was surprising. Two laps. I knocked out all the side streets first which took about 25 minutes then down and back on the main straight was about 11 minutes one way.

Felt really good today. Sang the finale to that acapella movie that I can't think of now in my head. Music just helps the run go by so much faster.

| | Was going to do 5 then changed my mind and did the loop instead. Just wasn't feeling it.

Attempted to do a set of pushups and situps. It was the hardest set of pushups and situps I have ever managed. 20 pushups. 33 situps. I had to stop a couple of times during the situps. Finished with my least favorite exercise of plank for one minute. Pretty sad. At least it is documented so I can refer back to see my further descent into darkness or a glorious rise from the ashes.

| | Hurting this morning. Felt heavy and not very fast. Just can't get it out of my head that my body doesn't burn calories the way it used to. Ran the usual loop but backwards.

| | Pushup and situp day. Set the timer for a minute. I love the feeling of invincibility when you start the first set. That feeling soon went away. Opted to drop to knee pushups when I got tired to decrease rest time. It sounded like a good idea.
For air squats, 3 sets of 14 (untimed). Pushups: 31, 21 then 24. Situps: 22, 20 and 20. Planks: 3 x 1 min.

| | Mental road block wins the day. For some reason, my right knee is sore. I have no idea why. I think it is because I sat for a long time at a desk on Monday. Went for a run this morning and just wasn't feeling it. Ended up walking instead. Possibly 3 miles. 1 hr 5:01.

| | Nothing like knowing you only have to do three sets. Easy day. Three sets of 35 knee pushups. I meant for it to be more of a stretch, but it did me in. 20 squats, 33 situps and the hated plank for a minute to finish off the set. Maybe someday I will get to love the plank, but I doubt it.

| | 3 sets: 10 side step squats, 10 pushups, 10 situps, 30 second plank then go back from plank to squats. Each set will get you 20 reps of each exercise and one minute total for the plank. All total: 60 reps of each and 3 minutes worth of planks.
Went walking for 20:30. Counted steps at 1160 which doubles to 2320 if you count each foot hitting the ground. Maybe a little bit over a mile. Nursing my knee a little.

| | I guesstimate that I covered about 3 miles. Set the timer to 10 minute intervals. Turned around at the 30 minute mark. Made it back in 29:08. I guess it just takes a little while to warm up and get moving. The streets make a nice oval and although they are not completely free of traffic, they are relatively quiet in the morning. It is probably a mile or maybe a mile and a quarter around the makeshift oval.

| | Traveled 100 miles, in a car of course, to move around some boxes and collect some free stuff. Then traveled that 100 miles back.

| | Hard to get going this morning. Hate pushup day. Set the timer for 15 minutes to see how may sets I could knock out. Warmed up for a little bit then went for it. Lost count when the timer went off so I was either in the middle of set 7 or 6, but we will go with 6 for now.
Set consists of 10 side squats, 10 pushups, 10 situps, 10 marching glute bridges. My pushup form began to suffer right around set 5 or 6. First set is always a breeze. Although the timer went off during situps, I just finished the set to completion.
Finished with 3 minutes of plank, but changed position every 20 seconds from front, left, right then starting again at front. Took a second or two to change positions but just kept that timer running.
